Lowes Supermarket Makes it Easy to Donate Food to the Hungry

Lowes Supermarket in Apex on Hwy 55 had two different sized paper bags with food to donate; a $5 bag and an $8 bag. The bags included items like tuna fish, rice and applesauce. It sure makes it easy to add a bag or two or three to your shopping cart, pay for the bags of food, and then see the clerk take the bags to a large container where they were gathering the donated food.
